59th Grammy Awards Nominees for Soundtracks

Grammy Awards Nominees for Soundtracks

The season of award nominees continues with the Grammy Awards. The list has the usual suspects, but a few animated music offerings make on to the 59th Grammy Awards nominees list for music and other fine categories.

59th Grammy Awards Nominees for Music

As with the Annie Awards, I will not post the entire nominee list here. I will restrict myself to just the music categories. Even with just the music categories, animation is not well represented this time. Only Trolls and Zootopia made the list, and then only for Best Song. I would love to have other animated films and televisions series represented, but this is not the year for cartoons. Maybe next year will be better for us animation fans.
